Prepare yourself for a wild ride with WICKED TINKERS. Pioneers of the growing Tribal Celtic movement, Wicked Tinkers have been playing haunting, heart-pounding bagpipes and irresistable, tribal drums as a professional band since 1995 and for many years before that at parties, renaissance faires and on various street corners. With the addition several years back of the mesmerizing drone of the australian didgeridoo and bronze-age Irish horn the magic was complete. Sit back and be transported to an earlier time in Scotland and Ireland when battle cries filled the air and strange, unheard-of creatures roamed the night. Or better yet, get on your feet and let your body move to ancient rhythms and forgotten sounds. Don’t think that this is dry, dusty music for museum shelves- the boys in the band merge the best of modern, almost rock and roll energy with the hypnotic, insistent grooves of their gaelic ancestors. Rare is the bystander who comes away without feeling a surprising, sometimes bewildering connection with long-forgotten, primal emotions and half- memories of ages past and experiences unknown and yet somehow familiar. This is music to set your jaw, put a fire in your belly, a glint in your eye and a dance in your feet.
An Irish Folk'n Rock Band
Craic in the Stone has been a unique and shining light in the SoCal Irish folk/rock music scene since 2013. With four studio albums and headlining shows at venues like Segerstrom Center, Chance Theater, Tudor House, Don the Beachcomber, Aquarium of the Pacific, as well as opening for national acts like the Young Dubliners, Accidentals, and Eric Lindell at Coach House SJC, Canyon Club Santa Clarita, Rose Theater Pasadena, St Rocke Hermosa Beach, The Mint LA, and many Celtic festivals including the Big Irish Fair, Scotsfest, and California Irish Festival, the band is tight, and the show a feast for the eyes and ears. The band was formed in 2013 when a group of experienced musicians put together a set of traditional and modern Celtic songs for a one-night concert to benefit the Chance Theater in Anaheim, California. It was one of those very special moments, and Craic in the Stone was born.
Two fabulous female vocalists make Craic standout. Fiery lead vocalist Janelle Vione drives the melodies with her powerful voice and expressive performance alongside Chris Caputo’s ethereal harmonies creating a magical vocal blend. Interwoven with their charisma is the violin virtuosity of Matt Brislawn, a stellar rhythm section featuring the acoustic guitar mastery of Jay Rofsky, Scotty McKay driving the beat on bodhrán and percussion, and Bill Strongin laying down a rock-solid foundation on the electric bass.
CELTER SKELTER
Making their first-ever appearance at a festival, CELTER SKELTER is an Irish-Celtic bluegrass tribute to the Beatles. Using traditional Irish and bluegrass folk instruments (accordion, fiddle, banjo, mandolin) to create the rock and orchestral arrangements of the Beatles, CELTER SKELTER tells the story of the Fab Four while covering their diverse musical catalog, and it’s all woven together with humor, storytelling and traditional Irish-Celtic and bluegrass rhythms and melodies. It’s the Beatles reimagined—like you’ve never heard them before!

Celtish is a garage band that started in a church library over a bottle of whiskey. We put our Celtic-fusion spin on a variety of musical styles from traditional to contemporary.

Our favorite jokester and performer is back for another year as our MC of Festivities and his antics as Rusty Bawls and his Fringe Festival Performance acts. Check Chris out as he makes his way throughout the festival grounds, whether he's on stilts or twisting the crowd into funny positions, he is sure to entertain and make you laugh!
DENNIS DOYLE & SON
Dennis Doyle is a Celtic harpist, singer and storyteller. His delightful program of traditional Irish harp music, stories, songs, bits of history and jokes have been performed all over North America, Japan and Ireland. Teachers and musicians run in his family which originally hails from County Wicklow. His published material includes 12 recordings, 4 books and contributions to several other artist's recordings. Over the years, he has served as the opening act for Clannad, the Dixie Chicks, and DeDannan.
His son, Austin Doyle plays guitar, mandolin and octave mandolin. Austin has grown up in a musical family surrounded by Celtic culture. He began playing music with his father while still in middle school. He has worked with his father at the Southern California Irish Fair, Montrose Summer Concert Series, Concern America, The Wren Theatre in Hollywood, the Celtic Arts Center the Irish Language Gaelic Weekends, and various other events. Austin is trained in digital art and works as an animator on various projects for Warner Bros and Renegade Animation.

LA FIFE AND DRUM
The Los Angeles Fifes & Drums is a professional-level musical ensemble based in the Greater Los Angeles Metropolitan Area that continues the tradition established by the Old Soldiers Home in West Los Angeles in 1905. This group performs traditional music from the Revolutionary War and American Civil War eras using period instruments, including modern rope-tensioned field drums that they manufacture themselves.
For the better part of two decades, the Ploughboys have regaled the Los Angeles Celtic community with modern and traditional music from the British Isles, with dash of bluegrass, country, and American folk thrown in.
The OCPCA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization comprised of law enforcement K-9 handlers who are dedicated to receiving the most current and highest quality training available. Training is a key factor that ensures the best possible service to the community. The OCPCA was started in 1983 by several law enforcement canine handlers in an effort to share information about the training and use of canines in law enforcement. As the OCPCA grew, we began to host an annual canine demonstration for the public that served as a fundraiser for the OCPCA.
In the fall of each year, we have continued the tradition of hosting our annual canine benefit show. At the exciting family show, you can see K-9 teams perform obedience, agility, apprehension, handler protection, explosive and narcotic detection. Through the benefit show, we raise funds which are donated to assist the families of fallen officers, provide medical care for retired police K-9s, assist police departments needing to replace retired K-9s, and provide further training for K-9 teams.

ROYAL SCOTTISH COUNTRY DANCING
Sociable, enjoyable and ever-evolving: Scottish Country Dancing may have its roots in the assemblies and balls of the 18th and 19th centuries, but its popularity has continued to increase to this day. Scottish Country Dancers mainly dance for pleasure, finding the shared experience of dance both physically and mentally enjoyable. Whether they dance at a local club, in a town hall or at a one-off Ceilidh event, the result is the same! It can get competitive! Many groups around the world perform displays at events or festivals in which they are able to share their skills in the dance form with others. Although the basic steps and formations are easy to pick up, the level of technique for competitive dancing is, inevitably, more demanding.​

SCOTTISH FIDDLERS OF LOS ANGELES
For nearly 50 years, the Scottish Fiddlers of Los Angeles have delighted audiences throughout Southern California with the lively, energetic and irresistibly uplifting music of Scotland, the Shetland Islands, Cape Breton Island and Ireland. Their playing is characterized by hard-driving reels and strathspeys, hauntingly beautiful airs and sweet waltzes. Directed by internationally known Scottish fiddler Jan Tappan, and frequently joined by world-renowned guest artists, the Scottish Fiddlers have become a Southland favorite. The community orchestra welcomes musicians at all levels from beginner to professional.

Watch the incredible skill and teamwork of sheep herding demonstrations at Scottish Fest, where highly trained dogs guide their flock with precision and speed. It’s a crowd favorite that’s as fascinating as it is fun to watch. After each demonstration, kids and adults can get up close, meet the dogs and sheep, and even give them a few pets. It’s a hands-on experience the whole family will love!
