FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

TICKET SALES

1. Are tickets final?

Yes, all sales are final and no refunds are given for issues such as, but limited to: weather, illness, change of mind etc. However while purchasing your tickets you have the option to add purchase protection. This add-on allows for refunds for acceptable reasons such as illness. For more information on what is covered or to initiate a refund request, go to www.purchaseprotection.com. Refunds will be issued by them directly, not by Scottish Fest.

2. I bought a ticket and no longer want to go. Can I resell it?

No, tickets can not be transfered or resold.

3. I bought a ticket by accident, am I stuck with it?

No, if you made a mistake on your ticket order and the ticket has not been used, reach out to us and we can easily fix your order, including cancelling and refunding the money for the wrong ticket type.

4. The event is over and I see on my bank statement I bought an extra ticket. Can I just issue a chargeback?

If after the event is over you discover you made a duplicate order, we ask that you contact us directly to resolve it, rather than issuing a chargeback through your credit card provider. Each chargeback costs us $30, regardless of the outcome. As a non-profit every dollar we make goes into the following year's festival. Email us us at scottishfest@gmail.com and let us know about your order and we can easily and quickly pull your order up and cancel and refund that duplicate order (assuming the tickets were not scanned). This saves us badly needed funds and gets you your refund much faster.
